Gratitude 5.22.24

Part of my journey of self-improvement is reflecting on my gratitude. When you’re feeling down, sometimes it’s hard to remember all the positives. I’ve challenged myself to think of three things everyday to be thankful for. Here are today’s three.

  1. On Papas birthday, I’m reminded of how grateful I am to have Papa in my life. He’s 86 today and that’s an incredible number.
  2. I’m grateful for the love I have in my life, aside from family members. I have communities surrounding me with care and I sometimes let that slip my mind. Blood is not always thicker than water and I’m supremely appreciative of the folks who choose to love me for me. My bonus families.
  3. This is the hottest day of the year, so far. I’m grateful for the sun and vitamin D that my body has been needing. Usually, I’m not a summer person, but today has been a nice break from the gloomy days that came so aggressively so far this year.
