I covered this song a few years back. At the time, I just had a laptop and a bedroom. There was absolutely no method to my recording process. My cousin, Alex, had asked me jokingly if I used my voice for the backing vocals on the karaoke track I used. It definitely wasn’t me, but it stuck in my mind that it was something I wanted to do. Create my own harmonies with my voice. That’s what I did this time around. There aren’t as many vocals in my version, that’s for sure, but I think I did a good job. It’s also amazing to hear the difference in audio quality now that I have a nice headset, a new laptop, and a better recording space.
