A group of folks from Faith stayed late one Sunday and had an impromptu decorating session throughout the church. I decided to film some of it in hopes to get a cute video. I think I succeeded! Enjoy some holiday cheer with lots of laughter and goofiness.
My Girl 12.12.23
This bronchitis has really been bringing me down. However, nothing will stop me from singing (unless a doctor says so). I’ve been wanting to cover this song for a long time, but the original key is not a comfortable range for me. The karaoke I found is so beautiful and sweet to sing along with.
So, please excuse the gravel in my voice, I couldn’t hold off any longer!
Dogs in the Office?
If only Knox was well behaved enough to join the crowd of dogs in the office…
Do me a favor…..
To anyone who has supported my music, photography, art, etc., THANK YOU! I’ve been having a blast sharing the content that’s gotten lost in the rubble. I’m proud to share everything I’ve done. There’s a lot! I appreciate everyone who has viewed this site, my images, my YouTube page, all of it. I’m so grateful.
I’m asking a huge favor, but hopefully it’s a simple one. I would LOVE to reach 100 YouTube subscribers by the end of 2023. If you haven’t already, please head over to my YouTube channel and click the subscribe button. It would mean the world to me.
Thank you again to all of my supporters!
Phoebe & Sabrina 10.20.23
Sabrina and I have been friends for nearly twenty years. I am so grateful for her support through this whole time. When we get together, we always take pictures. Most of them are super silly, but this picture in particular brought me so much joy! There were a few tiny changes I wanted to make, but I did not want to take away the focus of the picture; our friendship.
Offertory Song 11.26.23
This was a song performed at Faith Lutheran Church in Windham, Maine on Sunday November 26th. Emily and Dori sang, piano accompaniment was played by Betty, and I played the flute. This is such a pretty song. It has been so much fun making music with wonderful friends.
Your Song 10.19.22
I love this song by Elton John. This was featured as my intro in my virtual concert. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time for the whole piece at the time. Here is the full version, available on my YouTube page.
Make It To Me 9.17.22
This is a cover from last fall. This was the first song I recorded in my office in our last house. It was amazing to have my own space to create. I miss it a lot. Make It To Me by Sam Smith.
Propaganda 9.30.23
Who else hates LAUNDRY? I know I do. Absolutely the worst.
In my Digital Foundations class, we were assigned to create a poster for a complaint. I chose a silly, but relatable topic; laundry. I used a photo from pexels of a gal who looks visibly stressed to enhance the point of frustration. I used opposite colors on the color wheel, red in green, to create an interesting contrast of colors, white also adjusting the tints and shades of the colors. I changed the hue of the lady’s pants (like in the practice module) to match the colors of the font.
Oh, What a Night 5.17.23
What a BLAST this song was to record and get pictures for. This is another song I chose for the virtual concert back in May. This song is fun and I wanted the photos to match that feeling. I picked the silliest, goofiest photos I could find. They seemed to suit the song well.
