This is just one of the installments in the virtual concert I posted back in May. I’ve always been a Justin Bieber fan, and this is such a cute song. Enjoy the photos that go along with the video!
Stocking Surprise Graphic 11.29.23
One of our radio stations is hosting a game, Stocking Surprise! I was assigned to create a graphic with some cheesy, Christmas-y elements.
Like I Love Country Music by Kane Brown
This is my all time favorite song right now! Kane Brown is a great artist and I had an absolute blast covering this song last winter.

Today is national Cookie Day! Talk about your favorite cookie!
My favorite cookies are homemade chocolate chip cookies made by my Papa. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love so many different types of cookies. Homemade, store bought, from a bakery; cookies are great! However, there is something so special about a cookie made from scratch by someone who loves you. My Papa loves baking during the winter. With the holidays coming up, these make such a sweet, personal, and low-cost gifts! You can taste the love put into each cookie. It’s a tradition that has been from as far back as I can remember. I’ll hold the memory very close to me.
Jackson, Phoebe & Lucas 9.4.23
This photo was taken by my grandmother during a family reunion back in September. This was the first photo taken of my brothers and I since 2015. I was so grateful for this photo and I still am! The picture itself is so meaningful, however there were a few tweaks I wanted to make.
First, I resized the image. The white background of my Papa’s garage was great, but I wanted to focus on us a bit more. Then, I warmed the images by raising the yellows and reds. This helped give us all a bit more color on our faces. I raised the contrast and saturation to make us pop even more against the garage background.
The edits were nice to do, but the meaning behind this photo is treasured so much more than any editing can show.
Tommas 6.12.23
This is a photo I took of my boyfriend, Tommas, when we went on the mailboat tour on the Casco Bay Lines cruise. It was such a beautiful day with bright, blue skies. He hates photos, so I had to try to get one of him not really looking at the camera. It’s such a great photo already, but there were a few adjustments I wanted to make. The assignment was to edit the photo slightly, without changing the purpose of the image.
Using Adobe Lightroom, I adjusted the temperature and tints to make the photo warmer. I also modified the highlights and shadows. I used a lens to blur the strangers in the background, to keep the focus on Tommas. Finally, I used the healing tool to remove my reflection from his sunglasses. My forehead was taking over the whole photo and no one wants that, haha.
Overall, I’m pretty happy with the way this photo turned out, but I think little changes could be better help with some other programs like PhotoShop.
Writing Prompt 11.29.23
What do you hope to remember about your life right now when you are older?
When I look at what my life has been like lately, I hope to forget the stress. Life has been so overwhelming and chaotic lately, but there are so many bright spots to it. Within the past month we celebrated Tommas’ birthday with members from his family and mine. His brother got stuck here due to an issue with his car. Everyone in the house got sick, including our guests. Papa went into the hospital. I got to spend Thanksgiving with my brother for the first time since we were little kids. Papa came home from the hospital. I get to work my first concert at work. There is so much good happening. There are definitely stinky parts to it, but overall, this month has been filled with family. I’m so grateful for that. I hope to remember that I got to spend time with my family, Tommas’ family, and friends who might as well be our family too.
Thanks to anyone who gives this a read! Take a moment to think about this prompt yourself. Don’t let the bad times overwhelm you so hard that you don’t see the light in it. At the bottom, I’ll post some photos from November!
If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant.

Introduction
Hi everyone, thanks for checking out my website! I’m Phoebe Dyer and I consider myself a creative jack of all trades. My creative projects have included singing, playing instruments, taking photos, and creating graphic design elements. I created this as a way to share my accomplishments, achievements, and anything else I’ve created or done. From play instruments to web creation, commercials to songs, I’m so proud of everything I’ve have the opportunity to work on.The creative aspects of my life are what have formed me as a person. It is an honor to be able to share them with those who are willing to look. My goal is to share my experiences.
I’m currently a student at Southern Maine Community College taking courses to earn a degree in Communications and New Media. This pairs beautifully with the job I have at Portland Radio Group. You may be familiar with some of our stations; Coast 93.1, 101.9 WPOR, and Whoopie 100.9 to name a few. Since working here, I’ve learning how to use new media platforms, run contests and participate in events. I even got the chance to record a segment that runs on all of our stations, “Did You Know?”
On my YouTube channel, I like to post covers of songs. Singing is one of my favorite hobbies. I wish I could do more of it. One day, I’d like to have all the equipment to make great recordings. I’m trying to work on making better videos, as well.
The first piece of work I’d like to share is available to view on my YouTube channel. I covered this song about a month ago after hearing it at work a bunch. This is a very raw, hardly edited video of me singing the song Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo. I hope you enjoy.

I’m so grateful for anyone who takes a look at my site. Thank you for being here and I hope you enjoy the content.
